Are your products suitable for vegans?
Yes. All of our soy candles are made with 100% soy wax flakes and high grade fragrance oils. We work with reputable companies that deliver the best products on the market.
Where are your candles made?
We make every single candle and wax melt by hand in small batches in our studio in Bedford, England. The whole process is done in-house by a couple of awesomely dedicated makers.
How will my order be presented?
We are proud to use completely plastic free packaging. Your items will be wrapped in recycled tissue paper, on a bed of wood shavings and placed in a strong delivery box secured with a recycled tape. All of our packaging can be recycled, re-used or composted.
How much is delivery to the UK?
Our UK delivery is FREE of charge. You can expect the delivery of your order within 2 to 3 days. Different production lead times may apply for larger orders.
Do you deliver internationally?
No, sorry. We currently delivery only in the UK.
Who will deliver my parcel?
Our preferred courier is Hermes, however we may choose to get your order to you using a different company.
How will I know when to expect my parcel?
You will be sent an email when your parcels leaves us. Expect your parcel within 2 to 3 working days. You will be sent a tracking link by Hermes or one of our other delivery partners.
What if I'm not home when my parcel is delivered?
Your courier will always make three attempts to deliver your parcel. They’ll leave a calling card to let you know when’ll make their next attempt, which is usually the next working day.
If you don’t think you’ll be in for your next attempt, you can divert your parcel to a safe place or neighbour.

What shall I do if I'm having problems with my delivery?
If your delivery isn't going to plan then please contact us right away. We are here to help sort out the issue and will do everything we can to get your parcel to you. You can contact us at: email@example.com.
My parcel was damaged, what shall I do?
If you've received your order and something has been damaged during delivery please let us know right away. Please email us with details of your delivery, what's damaged and a photo if possible and we will arrange replacements or a refund, depending on the situation and your preferences.
Something is missing from my parcel, what shall I do?
We are only human and very occasionally we may miss something out of your parcel. If this has happened please let us know and we will get the missing item to you whilst apologising profusely!
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept all major digital payment methods including: credit/debit cards, PayPal, GooglePay, Apple Pay, etc.
Are Sixth Scent candles and melts compliant with European regulations?
All our candles and melts comply with European regulations.
How do I use a wax melt?
Our wax melts should be used in a melt warmer. Just place the melt on the top of the warmer. If you are using a conventional warmer, you will need to place an unscented tea light in the bottom of the warmer. If it is an electric warmer, simply plug it in and turn on.
In general if you are using a tea-light melt warmer the fragrance release will be more powerful than of an electric warmer, however will last less than of an electric warmer.
A melt will usually release its fragrance using a tea-light warmer for about 12 hours, on an electric warmer you should expect a fragrance release for about 18 hours.
